thischicks ♥ Lanvin

Last week I was checking out the blog of thischicksgotstyle. I love her style.
I enjoyed her post about Lanvin for H&M. And as a great lover of Lavin I just had to draw her in one of her favourite pieces of this collection. I got my eye on the piece of the one shoulder dress in black. Maybe I make a illustration of this dress too.



Did you know that five original illustrations made and signed by designer Alber Elbaz are to be auctioned at www.lanvinforhm.com. All proceeds will benefit the 'All for Children’-project of UNICEF. The online auction ends at 26 november, 24.00 uur CET.

Autumn with Caroline Herrera (2)

I promised you a second version of the illustration which I posted last week, that was made with the computer, using the program Paint. The above fashion illustration is made with watercolours. I also used pencil, ink and pastel (click on image to enlarge). I prefer my brushes. But it was a great experience!

Autumn with Caroline Herrera

Today I made a illustration with Paint. I made the illustration first with pencil.
Then I made a scan. With Paint I filled in the colors. A this moment I'm working on the illustration with watercolors as well. This takes it little more time. When this is finished I will put in on my blog. Please let me know which one you like to most.

SHOWING OF BURBERRY IN ILOVEFASHIONNEWSPAPER

I picked up the latest edition of the Dutch ILOVEFASHIONNEWSPAPER, and my fashion illustrations are published in it! I think the boots of Burberry worked out great. One of the illustrations, a portrait showing the make-up of Chanel FW 2010, is even on the backcoverside!!

Happy Birthday Magazine JAN

Last month Dutch Magazine JAN celebrated it's fifth birthday.
I always enjoy the gorgeous fashionsfotoshoots off this no-nonsense Glossy magazine. So I tried to make a fashion-illustration with that same atmosphere. The dress is Dior Couture Fall-Winter 2010;
